Nan and Jim’s Wedding , The State Room

Nan and Jim’s day had finally arrived, a sunny October day.  I met them at the church and as Nan stepped out of the limo, I knew Jim would be blown away.  She looked stunning!! After they said their “I do’s”, we took a walk along South Boston’s Castle Island.  It may have been sunny, but the winds were freezing.  But Nan wasn’t bothered and braved the cold walking around pleasure bay, in some serious heels.  She was awesome! Jim was right there to warm her up when she needed it. The fort was closed for the afternoon, but we got some great shots around it and then headed to post office square and ended up with a few last bride and groom shots in the warm of the state room.  It was a blast to shoot! And these two were just so comfortable and natural together that not only was it fun,it was easy!!  The city side room at the State room was gorgeous, complete with beautiful flowers and centerpieces by; www.ideas-in-bloom.com.  Kristin did a fantastic job!

The guests were arriving after a boat trip out on the harbor and the drinks and Hors d’oeuvres were flowing.  It was then onto dinner and speeches, followed by dancing the night away. Rounding off giving the bouquet away to the longest married couple, such a sweet touch. A top notch wedding!  Thanks for letting us be a part of it guys! And as always thank to my awesome husband for second shooting!
