Jacquie and Nick’s Wedding

Jacquie and Nick’s wedding was a couple of firsts for me.  It was the first time that we brought the studio set up to a wedding for a photo booth.  And it was the first time that I teared up behind my camera during the speeches.  There were some touching words, happy and sad that got me, hey, I’m only human.

This wedding was a blast for Greg and I to shoot.  Nick’s family and friends flew in from England for the week leading up to the wedding to spend some quality time with the couple.  The preparations started at the Charles Hotel, followed by a first look.  The rain forced us inside for the bride and groom photos, so we ducked into Noir bar before opening time.  The rain didn’t let up for the outdoor ceremony to go ahead, but it didn’t matter.  It was a beautiful ceremony, filled with laughter and tears, conducted by Jacquie and Nick’s friend.  Such a nice personal touch.

Everyone came to this wedding ready to party and when people needed a break from the dance floor we had some laughs out by the photo booth- see photos below.  Thank you to everyone for making us feel welcome and to my hubby, Greg, for shooting along side me.
