Polly Woodside

Before we set out on the trip we took a visit to Melbourne to get a few things sorted for the move and to visit family.  And I got to do my first shoot in our new city! I was asked by tandem architecture to photograph Polly Woodside Museum.

The Polly Woodside was built in Belfast in 1885 and operated as a cargo vessel, carrying coal, nitrate and wheat between England and South America, and also visiting North America, Africa, Asia and Australia.  It is now residing in Melbourne’s south wharf.  Tandem designed an amazing family friendly maritime museum next to the ship. It was great to see children in there interacting with the exhibition.
