My big brother tied the knot :-) – Queenstown Wedding

Wedding photographer going to a wedding without a camera in hand is just too strange.

For the first time in over 11 years, my brother and I are finally back to living in the same city.  And with him and his other half, Lani, planning their wedding over the last year, it couldn’t have happened at a better time.  As 2012 turned the corned into 2013, they tied the knot.  The whole family, and seemingly half of Melbourne, traveled to Queenstown, NZ to help them celebrate. We have spent a lot of time in New Zealand, with a kiwi mum, it will always be our second home. It was nice to be back on home turf. 🙂

Being a bridesmaid, meant I could not hide behind the camera, as I tend to like to do. 🙂 Jim Pollard was there to capture their day beautifully!

But I did promise to take some pics while we were getting ready until Jim arrived…

What a setting! Hey, Melbourne is not far,any brides looking for a photographer in Queenstown, get in touch!!

And that was about all I managed to take in between bridesmaid duties.  I didn’t even get a nice photo of my handsome brother.

I wish we had more time. I love New Zealand.  Maybe I’m biased, with my mum being a kiwi, but I think it has the most spectacular scenery.  Pretty nice place for a wedding, hey?

And yes that is me hang gliding. (can’t take credit for that photo :-))
