Lindel and Jeff’s Stones of Yarra Valley Wedding

I love a winery wedding, but what I love more is a fun and laid back couple, I feel as if I hit the jackpot with this wedding.  Lindel and Jeff are fun, laid back and oh so in love!

I started the morning at Lindel’s parents home, where Rebecca, her sister, was putting the finishing touches on the wedding cake she had lovingly made for them.  How amazing is that cake?! Jeff is from America and unfortunately his parents couldn’t make make the wedding, but once Lindel was in her wedding dress, technology lent a helping hand in bringing his parents a little closer and Lindel gave Jeff’s mum a preview of the wedding dress over skype. Such a sweet moment. It is no secret that I love dogs, so it wont come as surprise that I just loved seeing them take in the excitement of the wedding preparations and get one final pet from Lindel before she headed off to say I do.

Lindel’s something blue was the funniest I have seen yet, a tradition that started at her sisters wedding when the “something blue” was forgotten, and a blue beer label was used in it’s place. So with the Carlton Cold label ready to go, we were off to the ceremony at Stones of the Yarra Valley.

There are some ceremonies that will always stick with me, and they are usually the ones that are very personal. This was one of those ceremonies. Lots of insight into how they fell in love, and a beautiful moment where they opened up a letter from each other and read it silently. Yes I am a romantic, shocker! 🙂 Jeff’s parents were watching on through video chat the entire ceremony.

As we walked though the vineyard for the bride and groom photos, no direction was needed, these two fit perfectly into each others arms and I was happy to just snap away.  I could go on, but hopefully the images will speak for themselves. I will just say, Keith, your t-shirt was amazing! Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome and to Lindel and Jeff for letting me be a part of your beautiful day! Congratulations again!
