Exciting news…
I am so excited to share some news with you all. As I sit here in my office which is slowly becoming more and more surrounded with teeny tiny cute clothes and baby things, I am excited to share with you that Greg and I are expecting a new little addition to our family. We are so excited for the next stage in our lives and in just 3 short months, somewhere around October 1st, we will be introducing a little boy into the world.
Now to some of my clients, this will be old news, either from me giving a heads up phone call before your wedding, or me turning up on the day looking a little different from the last time we met. 🙂
The last 6 months have flown by and I feel so fortunate to have had the support of my clients throughout my pregnancy. In the first few months, during the height of the fun morning sickness/nauseas stage, when I was feeling pretty exhausted, if I felt like an upcoming wedding was too much for me to handle alone, I gave a heads up to my clients beforehand and Greg would come to help me out and second shoot. So to those clients, and you know who your are, I want to thank you. I am so grateful for your support and making sure I was Ok, fed and hydrated throughout the day (and wow February handed us some extremely hot days). The excitement and adrenaline surrounding your wedding always seemed to push any pregnancy discomforts to the back of my mind.
Unfortunately I did have to cancel 2 weddings which fell right around my due date. These clients were among the first to know and while I will be sad to be missing these beautiful weddings, I just want to thank them for their understanding and kind words.
I will be taking a few months off for maternity leave and won’t be accepting any wedding bookings from September through to the New Year. I will be “reopen” for weddings come January, however, I will only be taking a limited number of weddings a month, so first in, first served. 🙂
Finally I wanted to send out a lot of love and thanks out to my hubby, Greg. From day one you have been amazing! From helping me at weddings when I needed it, even coming prepared with a cooler full of drinks and snacks to get me through the summer heat, having a bubble bath ready for me at home to ease aching muscles after a long day shooting, cooking dinner when I just didn’t have the energy, keeping chocolate constantly on hand and for being “in this” just as much as I am. You are going to be such an amazing Dad!
Beautiful baby bump photos!
To the most Beatiful Mummy and Daddy to be! A lovely caring grateful letter to all the people that you care for. Everyone can only be trilled and excited knowing you and Greg will soon be parents to a baby boy that will fill your life with joy and the odd sleepless night!
Sending all our love and can’t wait to meet My great godson!
Lots of love
Linny and Pete xxxx
Greg’s photos record you beautifully Jo. He has captured your radiance in pregnancy just as you have done countless times when photographing brides’ ecstatic happiness & beauty on their special days. Keep that smile of contentment & keep well.
